AMS Racing Forged 383ci LS Stroker Short Block – Gen III 5.3L

Description

• Reconditioned GM 5.3L cast iron block

• DSS or Mahle forged pistons with file-fit rings

• Eagle forged 6.125″ h-beam rods with ARP 8740 bolts

• Eagle 4340 forged 4.000″ stroke crankshaft (24x or 58x reluctor wheel)

• King XP / Clevite H race bearings

• All machine work and assembly done in house at AMS Racing

Each short block is custom built to YOUR needs. If you don’t see an option that you would like to get a price for(arp main studs, etc.) please email us. Let us know if you plan on using nitrous or have a blown application and we can set up a custom piston ring end gap for you.
We can also build you a long block or choose a camshaft for your build. Please email us with any questions you have.
