Description
ATTENTION This is a send-in service which means you will send HPTuners your original ECM. We will need your VIN number in order to start the process. You can either input this into the “order instructions” section located in the shopping cart, or we will reach out via email. Once you place your order, we will reach out within 24 hours (weekends excluded) with information on where to send your ECU. Note: Laptop required to use MPVI VCM Editor Software.

How it works
Step 1: After placing your order with the necessary information, you will receive an email (within 24 hours; excludes weekends) with shipping information and address.
Step 2: Remove the ECM from your vehicle and safely package it. You will be responsible for shipping the ECU. It is best to use UPS or Fedex for reliability.
Step 3: HP Tuners will upgrade your ECM for tuning and diagnostics; then, ship it back to you with your MPVI device.
Step 4: Once you receive your upgraded ECM, install it back into your vehicle. Then, license the upgraded E90 ECM using VCM Editor Beta Software and the included [8] Universal Credits. Once licensed, you will disable DFM using our step-by-step guide and be running in minutes.
