AFM and DOD Disabler Kit for 2009–2011 GM Chevrolet, Pontiac, and GMC Vehicles with 6.0L V8 (VIN 8th Digit: 2 or Y)

Description

This kit includes everthing needed to delete AFM/DOD (Active Fuel Management) from 08-09 (VIN  code “2,Y”) GM 6.0L engines (Pontiac G8).  With this kit, you will retain VVT (Variable Valve Timing), and reuse the timing chain set.

-GM PN 12711967 non-AFM/DOD Camshaft
-Choice of lifters w/ plastic trays
-Complete head gasket set w/ MLS head gaskets (rectangle intake ports)
-Complete head bolt set
-Front timing cover gasket set
-GM brand non-AFM/DOD valley plate
-GM brand crankshaft bolt
Note: tuning your ECM is required to turn off AFM/DOD.   Manufacturer warranty on Chevrolet 12499225 & Comp Cams 850-16 only.  Other brand lifters do not come with a manufacturer warranty.
